PV93.ORG, Inc. and the Parkview Class of 1993 Completes

Successful 20-Year Class Reunion, Recognizes Absent LRSD

Little Rock, Arkansas – Today, Will G. Louden™ (willglouden.com™), outgoing Chairman of PV93.org, Inc., “Chairman Emeritus,” announced the completion of a very successful Parkview class of 1993 20-year class reunion weekend. We pulled in an estimated US $7,500 from registration fees, tee shirt sales, picture and video sales, etc. Another US $5,000 to US $7,000 of ‘in kind donations’ and/or sponsor/vendor and friend contributions helped to make the reunion weekend extra special!

The total number of officially registered reunion guests was 85 adults and 42 children. The registration number includes 3 unused ‘reserved banquet tickets’ which were set aside for the Little Rock School District (LRSD) and the current Parkview High School administration (and their respective guests) who did not attend the award event. Neither the LRSD nor the Parkview High School administration provided substitute staff to receive the award. Louden said, “at first I was a bit shocked when 7:00 p.m. rolled around and there were no LRSD officials present to receive the award. I immediately asked Ms. Evelyn James, who was in charge of ‘VIP handling’ to place a call to the President of the LRSD board, Ms. Dianne Curry, to gauge her ETA if possible. Fortunately, I was able to speak directly with her by phone on that evening, Saturday, July 6th, 2013. Ms. Curry was very nice and apologetic on the phone and requested that I relay her message on to the class for not being able to attend. She explained to me that she had a prior conflicting family engagement.”

Given the significance and importance of the award, Louden went ahead with the award presentation absent any LRSD and/or Parkview officials. A photocopy of the award is attached to this press/media release. Louden added, “I will attempt to reach out to the LRSD board president again in a few days to arrange a ‘private post reunion presentation (IF possible).’” Explaining that, “I can understand a conflicting schedule on a very busy holiday weekend! Sometimes it happens to the best of us!” A copy of his award presentation speech, the official reunion itinerary and the banquet program are also attached to this press/media release.

Louden, a Little Rock native who is also the founding chairman of PV93.org™ will step down from that role shortly after winding up all remaining 20-year reunion related business. He will return to the day to day helm of his latest and greatest creation, the internationally developing: WILLLOUDEN.COM, Inc. which is a development stage real estate living and lifestyle marketing and management enterprise. A transition plan detailing organizational elections, a tentative credentials committee, any outstanding tee shirt sales, reunion picture/video delivery, etc. and a tentative way forward is forthcoming in about a week to ten days. He explained, “I’m taking a few days off to ‘decompress’ from this past weekends events, festivities and my 20-year reunion operational responsibilities!”

He concluded, “I would like to take this time to thank all of our attending classmates and guests for allowing me an opportunity to serve them as the 20-year class reunion chairman! I must also extend a big thanks to all reunion venues, vendors, sponsors, presenters and friends for any role that they played! And finally I’d also like to send a very special thanks to our headliner for the evening, classmate and Atlanta based comedian: Carlos Anthony (Carlos Simmons). Carlos did a superb job! Please look Carlos up online and request him as a comedian in your local comedy center suggestion box. None of the success of this reunion was possible without the help and assistance of an exceptionally capable team of project backers! This ride has been unlike any other that I have ever experienced! I am blessed and highly favored to have been afforded another opportunity to serve!

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! GOD ROCKS!!! Until next time! ~ W.G.L. :_)”

Parkview Class of 1993 Set to Recognize Little Rock School

District for Outstanding State/National Ranking in July

Little Rock, Arkansas – Today, Will G. Louden™ (willglouden.com™), Chairman of PV93.ORG, Inc. (PV93.ORG™), announced plans to recognize the Little Rock School District and the current administration of Parkview Arts/Science Magnet High School for achieving a ranking of 4th in Arkansas and 249th in the nation by the Washington Post.

Louden said, “When it came to our attention that the school and district had received this recognition from the Washington Post, the members of our board, all of whom are Parkview class of 1993 alumni, thought it necessary to seize the opportunity and recognize our alma mater for achieving such a stunning accomplishment during our 20 year reunion awards banquet.”

He continued, “We are all ‘big proponents’ of education and recognizing those who worked to make this happen was a no brainier and just seemed exceptionally fitting!” The Class of 1993 is the 22nd class to graduate from Parkview since it began graduating seniors in 1971. Three of the four founding PV93.ORG, Inc. board members have children in Arkansas public schools. Louden added, “Evelyn James and Pamela Hopkins, are also teachers.”

“So often people choose to focus on what’s wrong and/or what’s not working with education, in this case we decided to take this opportunity and focus some light on what’s right with it, specifically, what’s right with Little Rock Parkview!”

The board decided to make this ‘class award’ at the 20 year reunion banquet on behalf of all of our classmates. The award will be presented in a private ceremony at Author’s Prime Steakhouse during the 20 year reunion awards banquet and comedy show in Little Rock on July 6th.
